I finally had to get a goddamn website going because, as it turns out, I'm popular and popular people need technology or the fans start freaking out. What happened to the good old days when websites were just where spiders lived? Ah well. I don't want anyone putting this baby in a corner simply because I would rather yell at people to their faces than over the internet. I just need to be satisfied to do both, I guess. Mary Dolan is an 86-year-old ex-vaudevillian trifecta of songs, jokes, and very good looks. She is the host of Boston's hit cabaret series, Bent Wit Cabaret, Auntie Drosselmeyer in the sexy satire The Slutcracker, and has been on stages from L.A. to London to Toronto with comedy troupe All The Kings Men. As a stand-up comedian she has performed at Gotham Comedy Club, NYC's Comix Comedy Club, Mottley's, ImprovBoston, The Women in Comedy Festival 2010, and as an opener for Jackie Monahan, just the one time. Her solo show, Sex Sells: An Evening with Mary Dolan premiered during Carnival Week 2010 in Provincetown, MA at the Art House, and is on it's way to Boston, New York, and probably a Tony. She sings in her spare time with Brendan Burns, guitarist and royal weirdo, and makes videos with Julia Van Daam, artist and troublemaker. Mary resides in Boston, MA with her partner Michael, their cats, and enough lubricant to start an auto shop.
